TPS6281x-Q1 is a pin to pin 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A synchronous buck DC/DC converter series device. All devices are highly efficient and easy to use. TPS6281x-Q1 series devices control topology based on peak current mode. TPS6281x-Q1 is designed for automotive applications such as infotainment systems and advanced driving aids. The low resistance switch can support continuous output current of up to 4A in high temperature environment. The user can adjust the switching frequency within the range of 1.8MHz to 4MHz through external means, or synchronize it to the external clock within the frequency range. In the PWM/PFM mode,
TPS6281x-Q1 will automatically enter the power saving mode under light load, so as to maintain high efficiency in the whole load range. TPS6281x-Q1 can provide 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, which helps to achieve power supply design with high output voltage accuracy. Through the SS/TR pin, the startup time can be set or the output voltage supplied to the external source can be tracked. This feature enables external sequencing of different power rails and limits the surge current during start-up.
TPS6281x-Q1 adopts 3mm with wettable side × 2mm vqfn package.
