explain
TPS5433xA series devices are synchronous converters, and the input voltage range is between 4.5V and 28V. This series of devices are integrated with low side switching field effect transistors (FETs), eliminating the need for external diodes, thereby reducing the number of components.
With integrated 128m Ω and 84m Ω MOSFETs, low IQ and pulse skip mode under light load, the efficiency is greatly improved. The power off current can be reduced to 2 µ A by enabling the pin. The reference voltage of the buck converter can maintain an accuracy of 1.5% in the whole temperature range, and can provide accurate voltage stabilization for various loads.
Cycle by cycle current limiting of high side FET can protect TPS5433xA series devices under overload, and prevent current runaway through current limiting of low side power supply, thus realizing function enhancement. The low side pouring current limit can turn off the low side MOSFET to prevent excessive reverse current. When the duration of over-current exceeds the preset time, the intermittent protection function will be triggered. Thermal shutdown will disable the device when the chip temperature exceeds the threshold, and enable the device again after a built-in thermal interruption time.
