Description of TPS709-Q1

TPS709-Q1 series linear regulators are ultra-low quiescent current devices designed for power consumption sensitive applications. A precision band gap and error amplifier has an accuracy of 2% in the temperature range. Only 1 µ A quiescent current makes this device an ideal solution for normally open systems that are battery powered and require very little idle power dissipation. In order to increase safety, these devices also have thermal shutdown, current limiting and reverse current protection functions.

By pulling the EN pin to the low level, this series of regulators can be placed in the off mode. The turning off current of this mode is as low as 150nA (typical value).

The TPS709-Q1 series is available in WSON-6 and SOT-23-5 packages.
