TPS54060A device is a 60V, 0.5A, step-down voltage regulator with integrated high side MOSFET. Current mode control provides simple external compensation and flexibility in component selection. A low ripple pulse skip mode reduces the no-load stable output power supply current to 116 μ A。 The enable pin reduces the power supply current of the shutdown mode to 1.3 μ A (At this time, the enable pin is low level).
The undervoltage lockout is internally set to 2.5V, but it can be increased by using the enable pin. The output voltage start ramp is controlled by the slow start pin, which can also be configured to control sequencing/tracking. A normal signal of open drain power supply indicates that the output in the second section is within the range of 94% to 107%.
The wide switching frequency range allows optimization of efficiency and external component dimensions. Frequency turn back and thermal shutdown functions protect components under overload.
