ISO1050 is a galvanically isolated CAN repeater, which meets or exceeds the technical specifications of ISO11898-2 standard. This device has several logic input and output buffers separated by silicon oxide (SiO2) insulating barriers, which are ISO1050DW in the first paragraph of the description and 2500 VRMS for ISO1050DUB. Used with isolated power supply, this device can prevent noise current on data bus or other circuits from entering local grounding and interfering with and damaging sensitive circuits.
As a CAN transceiver, the device CAN provide the bus and CAN controller with differential transmission capability and differential reception capability respectively, and the signal transmission rate is up to 1 megabit per second (Mbps). The device is particularly suitable for working in harsh environments. It has serial line, overvoltage and ground loss protection (– 27V to 40V) and overheating shutdown functions. The common mode voltage range is – 12V to 12V.
The rated operating ambient temperature range of ISO1050 is – 55 ° C to 105 ° C.
