LT ® 8709 is a synchronous PWM controller positive to negative or negative positive DC/DC conversion with rail rail output current monitoring and control. LT8709 is an ideal design for many local power sources. It can be easily configured as a buck, boost, buck, and reverse topology with negative input voltage.

In addition, the rail to rail output current sensing of LT8709 allows this component to be configured in current limited applications such as battery or capacitor charging. PG pin is used for indicating good power.

The switching frequency range of lt8709 can be limited to between 100 kHz and 750 kHz. This component can be synchronized from the RT pin to the - VIN pin at the frequency set by the resistor, or to an external clock.

The LT8709 also features an innovative EN/FBIN pin circuit that allows for slow changing input signals and an adjustable undervoltage locking function.
