UCC2154x is an isolated dual channel gate driver family, designed with a maximum of 4-A/6-A peak source/sink current to drive Power MOSFET, IGBT and GaN transistors. UCC2154x also provides a minimum channel to channel spacing of 3.3 millimeters in the DWK package, facilitating higher bus voltages.
The UCC2154x series can be configured with two low side drives, two high end drives, or half bridge drives. The input is isolated from two output drivers through a 5.7kVRMS isolation barrier, with at least 100V/ns common mode transient immunity (CMTI).
The protection functions include: programmable dead time for resistors, disabling the function of simultaneously turning off two outputs, integrating a fault removal filter, rejecting input transients less than 5ns, and handling negative voltages up to 200ns on input and output pins. All supplies have UVLO protection.
