LT ® 3045 is a high-performance low dropout linear regulator with LTC's ultra-low noise and ultra-high PSRR architecture, designed for noise sensitive applications. The LT3045 is designed as a precise current reference, followed by a high-performance voltage buffer that can be easily parallelized to further reduce noise, increase output current, and distribute heat on the PCB.
The device provides 500 mA at a typical dropout voltage of 260 mV. The nominal working static current is 2.2 mA, which drops to<1 µ A during shutdown. The wide output voltage range of LT3045 (0V to 15V), while maintaining unit gain operation, provides almost constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth and load regulation, independent of programmed output voltage. In addition, the regulator has programmable current limitation, fast start capability, and good programmable power to indicate output voltage regulation.
LT3045 is stable and has a minimum 10 µ F ceramic output capacitor. The built-in protection includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, foldable internal current limit, and hysteresis thermal limit. LT3045 can be used in heat enhanced 12 lead MSOP and 10 lead 3mm x 3mm DFN packages.
