explain
ADG1636 is a single-chip CMOS device that includes two independent selectable single pole/double throw (SPDT) switches. EN input is used to enable or disable the device. When disabled, all channels are closed. When turned on, each switch has good conductivity in both directions and has an input signal range that extends to the power supply. In the off state, the signal level up to the power supply is blocked. In multiplexer applications, both switches exhibit a pre break switching action.
The ultra-low resistance of these switches makes them ideal solutions for data acquisition and gain switch applications, where low resistance and distortion are crucial. Throughout the entire analog input range, the resistance distribution is very flat, ensuring good linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals.
The CMOS architecture ensures ultra-low power consumption, making the device highly suitable for portable and battery powered instruments.
