The OPAx277 series precision operational amplifier has replaced the industry standard OP-177. The OPAx277 device provides improved noise performance, wider output voltage swing, and a speed that is twice the original, with only half the static current. Features include ultra-low offset voltage and temperature drift, low bias current, high common mode suppression, and high power supply suppression.
OPAx277 can achieve excellent performance at a power supply voltage of ± 2V to ± 18V. Most operational amplifiers are specified to be powered by only one type of power supply voltage, while the OPAx277 series is different as its power supply voltage depends on the actual application; The only limiting conditions apply to the range of ± 5V (10V) to ± 15V (30V) power supply voltage. When the amplitude of the amplifier approaches the rated limit, high performance can still be maintained. Due to the very low initial offset voltage (maximum ± 20 μ V) Therefore, there is usually no need for user adjustment. However, the single channel version (OPA277) provides external trimming pins for special applications.
OPAx277 is easy to use and does not have phase reversal and overload issues that may occur in some other operational amplifiers. These devices not only have stable unit gain, but also provide excellent dynamic characteristics under various load conditions. The dual channel and four channel versions have completely independent circuits, which can minimize crosstalk and eliminate mutual interference even in case of over drive or overload.
