MAX30208 operates at a power supply voltage of 1.7V to 3.6V and is a low-power, high-precision digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of ± 0.1 ° C ranging from+30 ° C to+50 ° C and ± 0.15 ° C ranging from 0 ° C to+70 ° C. MAX30208 has a resolution of 16 bits (0.005 ° C).
This device uses a standard I2C serial interface to communicate with the host controller. There are two GPIO pins available. GPIO1 can be configured to trigger temperature transitions, while GPIO0 can be configured to generate interrupts with selectable status bits.
MAX30208 includes a 32 word FIFO for temperature data and also includes high and low threshold digital temperature alarms. This device can be packaged in a 2mm x 2mm x 0.75mm, 10 needle thin LGA bag.
