The SHT20 humidity and temperature sensor has become an industry standard form factor and intelligence: embedded in a reversible dual flat (DFN) package with 3x3mm footprints and 1.1mm height to provide calibration, linearize sensor signals in digital, I2C format.
The SHT2x sensor includes a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, and specialized analog and digital integrated circuits - all of which are installed in one CMOSens ® On the chip. This has unparalleled sensor performance in terms of accuracy, stability, and minimum power consumption.
Each sensor has undergone separate calibration and testing. Batch identification is printed on the sensor, and the electronic identification code is stored on the chip, which can be read out through commands. In addition, the resolution of SHT2 can be changed through commands (RH/T from 8/12 bits to 12/14 bits), and checksum helps improve communication reliability.
With this set of features and proven reliability and long-term stability, the SHT2x sensor offers an excellent performance to price ratio. To detect SHT2x, there are EK-H4 and EK-H5.
