describe
TLV5610, TLV5608, and TLV5629 are pin compatible, 8-channel, 12/10/8-bit voltage output DACs, each with a flexible serial interface. The serial interface allows for non adhesive interfaces to TMS320 and SPI, QSPI, and micro wire serial ports. It is programmed with a 16 bit serial string and 12 control bits.
The additional function is the power-off mode, which is used to update the LDAC input of all 8 DAC outputs simultaneously, as well as the data output that can be used to cascade multiple devices.
The output voltage of the resistor string is buffered by a rail to rail output amplifier with programmable settling time to allow designers to optimize speed and power consumption. A buffered, high impedance reference input can be connected to the power supply voltage.
Implemented through a CMOS process, dac is designed for single power operation from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and can operate on two independent analog and digital power supplies. These devices come with 20 pin SOIC and TSSOP software packages.
