CA-IS3062 is an isolated control area network (CAN) physical layer transceiver that integrates an isolated DC-DC converter internally. Technical specifications that comply with ISO11898-2 standard. This device uses on-chip silicon dioxide (SiO2) capacitors as isolation layers to create a completely isolated interface between the CAN protocol controller and the physical layer bus, coupled with an internally integrated isolated DC-DC, which can isolate noise and interference and prevent damage to sensitive circuits.
CA-IS3062 adopts SOIC surface mount packaging form, integrating 2-channel digital isolators, CAN transceivers, and isolated DC-DC. The chip only requires one 5V power supply on the logic side globally, achieving a fully isolated CAN transceiver solution.
CA-IS3062 can provide differential reception and transmission capabilities for CAN protocol controllers and physical layer buses, respectively, with a maximum signal transmission rate of 1Mbps. This device has current limiting, overvoltage, and bus fault protection (-40 V to 40 V) as well as thermal shutdown function, which can prevent output short circuits. The common mode voltage range is -12 V to 12 V. CA-IS3062 has a rated temperature range of -40 ° C to 125 ° C and is available in a wide body SOIC16 package.
