UTC UT3232 has two receivers, two drivers, and a dual charge pump circuit. This device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F and provides an electrical interface between the asynchronous communication controller and the serial port connector. The charging pump and four small external capacitors allow for operation from a 3.0V to 5.5V power supply. The device operates at a data signaling rate of up to 250kbit/s and a maximum driver output rotation rate of 35V/μ s.
