A4954 is designed for pulse width modulation (PWM) control of two DC motors, which can increase the peak output current to ± 2a and the working voltage to 40V. The input terminal is used to control the speed and direction of the DC motor through the externally applied PWM control signal. Internal synchronous rectification control circuit is provided to reduce power consumption during PWM operation.
Internal circuit protection includes overcurrent protection, short circuit of motor conductor to ground or power supply, thermal shutdown with hysteresis, VBB undervoltage monitoring and cross current protection. A4954 is packaged with 16 pin tssop, hot lead (suffix LP), lead-free (PB), and 100% matte tin lead frame plating.
