explain
The ina381 contains a high-speed inductive current comparator and a common mode comparator. The device detects overcurrent by measuring the voltage on both sides of the shunt resistor and comparing the voltage with the user-defined threshold limit (set by the reference pin of the comparator). The current shunt monitor can measure the differential voltage signal in the common mode voltage range of – 0.2V to 26V independent of the supply voltage.
The open drain alarm output can be configured to operate in two modes: transparent or latched. In transparent mode, the output state is consistent with the input state. In latch mode, the alarm output is cleared only when the latch is reset. The response time of large signal alarm of independent comparator is less than 2 µ s, which can quickly detect overcurrent events. The response time of the total system overcurrent protection provided by ina381 is less than 10 µ s.
The device is powered by a single power supply from 2.7V to 5.5V, and the maximum power consumption is 350 µ a. The device has an operating temperature range of – 40 ° C to + 125 ° C and is packaged in 8-pin and 10 pin vssop.
