Tps3851 perfectly combines high-precision voltage monitor and Programmable Watchdog Timer. Tps3851 comparator can achieve 0.8% accuracy (– 40 ° C to + 125 ° C) on VDD pin for undervoltage (vitn) threshold.
Tps3851 also contains high-precision hysteresis related to undervoltage threshold, so it is an ideal choice for tight tolerance systems. The reset delay of the monitor has 15% accuracy and high-precision delay time.
Tps3851 contains a programmable window watchdog timer, which is widely used in various applications. Dedicated watchdog output (WDO) helps to improve the resolution, thus helping to determine the root cause of the failure condition. Watchdog timeout can be programmed by external capacitance or factory programmed default delay setting. The watchdog can be disabled through the logic pin to avoid unexpected watchdog timeout in the development process
