explain
Tps65094 device is a single-chip solution power management integrated chip (PMIC), which is designed for the latest Intel ™ Processors are designed for tablet, ultrabook, notebook, industrial computer and Internet of things (IOT) applications powered by 2, 3 or 4 lithium-ion battery packs (nvdc or non nvdc Power Architecture) and wall powered applications.
The tps65094 device is used to combine the necessary systems of low-voltage rails to obtain the smallest size and lowest cost system power solution. Tps65094 device can provide a complete power solution based on Intel reference design. The power on sequence logic controls six high-efficiency step-down regulators (VR), a fill / pull LDO (VTT), and a load switch to provide correct power rail, sequencing and protection - including DDR3 and DDR4 memory power supply.
Two voltage regulators (buck1 and buck2) support dynamic voltage regulation (DVS) to maximize efficiency (including support for networked standby). High frequency VR uses small inductance and capacitance to reduce the volume of the solution. With I2C interface, the control function can be easily realized through embedded controller (EC) or system on chip (SOC). PMIC adopts 8mm with heat dissipation pad × 8mm single line vqfn package, so it has good heat dissipation performance and simple circuit board wiring.
