LTM ® 4630a is a dual 18a or single 36a output switching mode step-down DC / DC µ module ® (micro module) regulator has wider Vout range and higher efficiency than ltm4630. The package includes switch controller, power FET, inductor and all supporting components. The ltm4630a has an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and supports two outputs, each with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 8V. Each output is set by an external resistor. Its efficient design provides a continuous current of up to 18a for each output. Only a small number of input and output capacitors are required. Ltm4630a is compatible with ltm4620 and ltm4620a (double 13a, single 26a) and ltm4630 (double 18a, single 36a).

The equipment supports frequency synchronization, polyphase operation, burst mode operation and output voltage tracking sequencing, and has an on-board temperature diode for equipment temperature monitoring. The high switching frequency and current mode architecture enables fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability.

The fault protection function includes overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The ltm4630a provides 16mm × 16mm × 4.41mmlga and 16mm × 16mm × 5.01mmbga package.
