Tlv8x3 series monitoring circuit mainly provides circuit initialization and timing monitoring for digital signal processor (DSP) and processor based system. Tlv803, tlv853 and tlv863 are functionally equivalent.
The tlv863 and tlv853 pins are assigned differently than the tlv853 pins. During power on, reset will be effective when the power supply voltage (VDD) exceeds 1.1V. Therefore, as long as the following conditions are met, the monitoring circuit will monitor Vdd and keep reset in an effective state: VDD remains below the threshold voltage VIT.
The internal timer will restore the output delay to the standby state (high level) to ensure the normal reset of the system. The delay time (TD (typ) = 200ms) starts after VDD exceeds the threshold voltage VIT. When the power supply voltage drops below the threshold voltage vit, the output becomes active again (low level). All devices in this series have a fixed sensing threshold voltage (VIT) set by an internal voltage divider.
The product series is specially designed for 2.5V, 3V, 3.3 and 5V power supply voltages. These devices are packaged in 3-pin small overall size transistor (SOT) - 23. The rated operating temperature range of tlv803 device is - 40 ° C to + 125 ° C.
